In order to allow Cohesion to display the character sets required for the supported languages such as Greek and Chinese, you will need to have a copy of a unicode font which supports these character sets. We have been using the freely available Bitstream Cyberbit font and recommend it as the choice for Win32 platforms. In order for Java to be able to use the font you will also need to use a different font.properties file in your jre/lib directory. This can be downloaded from the synergy web site. If in doubt, just do a search for all "font.properties" files on your system (sometimes there are a number of them) and replace them all. This shouldn't affect other Java programs. If it does, let us know. If you haven't followed the directions above, you will only see garballed characters for the Chinese and Indonesian characters in the Dialect tab of the preferences dialog.
