General Questions

1. What's "email"?
2. Why "Team Synergy", and not just "Synergy"? "Team Synergy" has been chosen as our team's official name basically to prevent any legal ramblings regarding the use of the name "Synergy" as a 'company' name. We do not expect, nor do we intend on registering the name "Team Synergy". If the name is already in conflict with a registered company of the same name (as of March 1999), please refer to FAQ Point 4.
3. The "Team Synergy" Logo looks awfully familiar. Haven't I seen it somewhere before? The Team Synergy logo was completely created from scratch by the team Style & Design Coordinator (S&DC), who takes pride in developing unique designs. Any similarities between the Team Synergy logo is purely coincidental. Companies with similar registered logos should refer to FAQ Point 4.
(It only goes to show that great artistic minds think alike...  ;) -- S&DC)

4. The names/logos you're using have already been registered to my company. Why shouldn't I take action? The names/logos used in conjunction with any Team Synergy-related projects are only intended for short-term student use. If Team Synergy have infringed on any trademarks or acts of copyright, we did not intentionally do so, and if notified of any infringements we would not hesitate in altering our project details to reflect any necessary changes.
5. Where is Melbourne, Australia? Melbourne is the other major city situated on the South-East corner of Australia. The country itself can be found in the Southern Hemisphere of our planet Earth, and is conveniently located between South-East Asia and Antarctica. It should not be confused with Austria, which is situated in Europe. And NO, we don't dress up in Lederhosen and speak Deutsche (although some of us might, being a culturally diverse society). Australia's primary language is English.
6. What's CASE? "CASE" stands for Computer Aided Software Engineering. The abbreviation is usually used in conjunction with the word 'Tool' (ie. 'CASE Tool'), referring to a computing tool used by Software Engineers.

Questions about Cohesion

7. What's the default administrative user name and password? In order to log in to the Cohesion server from the Cohesion client, you should first log in as "admin" with the default password of "password". From there you can view the other default users (all of which have the same default password as above), and add and remove users as required.

15. Why would you have a "Fun Page" in a serious team project web site?
